Please, follow the rules and regulations to minimize interruptions and traffic in our laboratory, make everybody’s lives easier and to avoid instruments disruption. This increases our efficiency and also allows us to keep the laboratory a functional and state-of-the-art facility.

Specific general regulations as well as rules to use the "open access" equipment independently are given separately.

Users who will not follow the regulations and take care about the equipment properly will not be able to use the cytometers.

In case of any problem please do not hesitate to contact us.

Please be conscientious of the fact that you are operating an expensive piece of equipment that is used for numerous scientific projects. Therefore, any instrument downtime due to careless handling is usually very expensive and will affect other investigators.

In all types of publications (bulletins, scientific papers, dissertations etc.) which include data received at the Laboratory of Cytometry, it is necessary to place the information:

„Badania … przeprowadzono w Pracowni Cytometrii Instytutu Biologii Doświadczalnej im. M. Nenckiego PAN”

„ Experiments ... were performed at the Laboratory of Cytometry, Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, Polish Academy of Sciences”.

This information should be placed in the chapter Materials and Methods and in the Acknowledgements.

Flow Cytometry Service Form/ Collaboration

All users are asked to fill the Flow Cytometry service Form and provide all necessary information about the experiments performed using the core facility, including the type of service provided by the members of Laboratory of Cytometry.

After completion of the analysis the Final Report and the type of paper contribution will be signed.
