The Laboratory of Cytometry has been established in June 2010 to provide state of the art multicolor flow cytometry service. Currently, Laboratory is equipped with two BD FACSCalibur flow cytometers, BD LSR Fortessa analyzer, Guava easyCyte Merck Millipore capillary cytometer and BD FACSAriaII cell sorter. The instruments allow high-quality multiparameter/multicolour analysis. The Laboratory of Cytometry provides also a cell culture unit and all necessary laboratory facilities.
Lab members provide training, organize courses and workshops in basic and advanced flow cytometry techniques. Being part of the ISAC (International Society for Advancement of Cytometry) Life Education Task, we organize ISAC Warsaw Workshops. We participate in the ISACÂ initiatives to provide opportunities for collaboration with expertise laboratories.
We are proud to announce that the Laboratory of Cytometry at the Nencki Institute has been selected as a CYTEK Center of Excellence for our region. This recognition highlights our commitment to cutting-edge flow cytometry research and innovation. As a Center of Excellence, we will collaborate closely with CYTEK to promote advanced cytometric technologies, provide expert training, and support scientific communities through workshops, demonstrations, and joint research initiatives.
ISAC's CYTO University web site provides useful information on flow cytometry applications, standarization, panel design, controls, data analysis rigor and troubleshootting. You can get there access to high quality educational material presented in the form of webinars: http://cytou.org/store/provider/provider09.php
Comprehensive set of information about reproducibility of data in flow cytometry has been published in Cytometry Part A, which is the official journal of the International Society for Advancement of Cytometry. You can find the guidelines under the following links:
